Last week while Rick was away KC Magazine held their annual Design Excellence Awards. Mike and Matthew showed up at the new J.E. Dunn headquarters downtown to represent RDM Architecture and hopefully pick up an award. 08 November 2010 Excavation continues at Lake Quivira: A great deal of work has been done already as you can see from the photos below and its possible now to get a feeling for where each level of the house will eventually sit. Having removed the loose rock and soil, the work now consists of breaking free and dragging out car-sized boulders. Not an easy task but it continues to move along on schedule....
