Belvedere Concrete II

Formwork for the upper foundation walls is stripped! Its a big day on the Belvedere site, the spray water proofing (the black in the photo below) has been applied and the protective foundation board applied over that. We took an office trip out to check on the progress at the Beveldere site. You can tell even now that the views are going to be spectacular from both the upper and lower patio. Belvedere Concrete

[gallery link="file" size="medium" ids="837,836,838"] The form work for the remainder of the concrete at Belvedere is ready and concrete should be poured this week. The forms themselves are beautiful in an industrial sort of way and a sharp contrast to the natural landscape beyond and the crisp finished concrete around it. We'll post some pictures as soon as the forms come off. Excavation and concrete work are going to be finished soon and then the house starts to really become three dimensional....
