6109 Residence Update 3

Another update on the "cathedral". The exterior shingles are done and the trim is done. Interior foam is done and the wall insulation is also done. The tabs for the new steel tie rods are ready to go. Sheetrock should be going in soon but until there is a complicated little section of roof that needs some attention. We love to work on projects of every scale here and this is a perfect example of a smaller scale project and another successful collaboration with Pascal at Meya Metalworks. Custom Steel Railings

Took a trip down to Pascal's shop to check up on progress on a little railing project we are doing. Fabrication is well under way and the railings are looking great. All welded from steel tub and solid bar these are heavy and very sturdy. Belvedere Update 25

This is a long post, so get ready because there are some cool things in it starting with this first pic. There have been delays due to site work and details but the bridges are finally on site. The steep site requires a unique installation path. To get the bridges to the downhill side of the house they were lifted over the entire house and lowered carefully into place. Belvedere Update 11

Here are just a few images from the Belvedere site from the last site visit. The roof was about 3/4 done, by now I'm sure that its done. Getting some roofing on there makes a huge difference and starts to make the project more real. In this photo you can really see the depth of the roof material and the great shadows it creates.
