Belvedere Update 35

We've posted these on our Facebook page but in case you haven't seen them or your like a bit more description, here we go! Here are two views of the arcade from the exterior. There is a lot of landscaping that still needs to be done and the driveway and walks are still a giant hole. The house itself is pretty much done and the clients have moved in and love the way it turned out and how the light...

Belvedere Update 34

More progress on the exterior. The pool is filled and the rest of the plantings are in.  The path to the dining room has also been fully planted, including between the pavers. This is going to look even better as those start to fill in. Another view of the patio showing how dense the plantings are and a hint of the great view. Gutters (copper half-round) and downspouts are in, as is the exterior lighting and the screens....

Belvedere Update 33

It hasn't been that long but things are cruising now so here are even more pictures! We'll start with the interior.  First thing you notice going into the house is this incredible waterjet cut natural stone medallion installed in what is already a beautiful floor. You can see a bit of the stair, one of the only things that haven't been stained and finished. There is a custom curved piece mahogany that we are waiting on before the final trim...

Custom Gate

RDM Architecture jumped into the design-build side of things with this gate we designed for a previous client who's dogs discovered a weak spot in the "invisible fence". At this particular spot they were able to build up some speed and get through and out of range. To resolve this we just needed a gate as the surrounding plantings are dense/thorny enough to disuade the dogs from going around.   The gate structure and pickets are cedar and the posts...
